Had a play in something different today!

6.4 Hemi V8 Jeep SRT. Bonkers quick for 3 tonnes.Playing with the launch control.Think it would give a few exotic machines a big fright.Mate who is a Jeep dealer is trying to talk me into it. The acceleration is so violent.Has anyone else tried one?Still can't get over how well it puts the power down.

Ihave only seen drag strip launches of the SRT on youtube, they are super fast !!!!

I remember last year a srt 8 jeep 6.1 tried to race me in my Lotus Carlton , it was quicker than i expected.

Used to have one of the old 6.1 versions. Was a beast and sounded fab. The traction with 4x4 was immense and off the line it was quite a feeling. Would have another.

We've got one of the new 3.0 CRD versions it's got good acceleration as well but not as violent as the V8
