Hi everyone,

I'm looking into starting a car transport business, this would be initially with a 4x4 & car transport trailer set-up to avoid the operators licence etc. issues.

I've got goods in transit insurance & public liability, tacho graphs etc. sorted but im coming across a few problems insuring the actual vehicle, would a traders policy to inusre driving the vehicle on/off etc. combined with the tow vehicle be better or can I insure these separate?

Most of the standard insurers don't seem to know or say they cant do it.

Does anyone have any knowledge or know of any companies that may be able to help, most are office hours so are closed now but just wanting to get a head start?

Many Thanks.

Stevie

Tiz what I do-

Lizardlogistics.com

surprised you've had issues tons of co's do this, its not cheap tho vs the GIT.

Bullawell do my road risks, Coverwell my GIT, Coverwell will do road also but I wanted a trade policy rather than a single vehicle one that they could offer.
