Mk7 GTD - great on track! but what pad and disk upgrade?

Took my GTD on its first track day at Mallory on Sat with my daughter (her first track day at seventeen).
It was fantastic in the very wet morning session and ran faster than many of the cars that had been track lightened and trailered there!
When the track dried later the brakes heated very rapidly to the point of smoking and she backed off for fear of warping the discs (happened on a previous Golf).
Car seems ideal for daughter to keep running around tracks.
Can't seem to find any information on an upgrade for the Mk7 - any ideas??
