Hi all im new to this but glad i found you im after a bit of general advice.
I in the process of buying a 2009 vw golf eos 20Tdi Hard top convertable with 70000 miles on clock.
When does the cambelt need changed or should it have been done?
Also is there any issues with the car or roof i could do with knowing about so i can keep an eye on it.
ive traded in a VW golf est so i know they are good cars and ive had my last one for 11+ years.
Cheers
ill look forward to your coments.

70k would be about the time for a new cambelt, given the tensioner bearings won't be too long for this world.
If buying, see about either getting them to knock off the cost of having a cambelt and water-pump (Best done whilst in there) installed off the price or have the seller do the work for you with receipts and photos to prove it.
