Which dealer pays the best prices?
Discussion
That's the $64,000 question - I guess its the one who doesn't havn't much or any stock matching your car right now and feels like they need one the most.
Afraid you will probably need to ring round to few to work that out, but pre-checking their website should give you an idea of those not to bother calling. If anybody already has 3 or 4 DBS's already then I would expect them to bid low on yours.

They all need to make a profit so expect to be disappointed with the number.
However, if your trading in, there are other ways to claw it back.
Cost to change is the significant number and I've had more than reasonable deals from Wilmslow. I actually wonder if they made their margins on my deals.
Factor in that they will need to fix paint, add a premium warranty, a margin for 'niggles' and then profit on top. That can cut £5-10k off the advertised car price you see.
Selling privately means you can get a higher amount. But the savvy buyer already knows the dealer car comes good out of the box with a £2k warranty. Private sale has no niggle recourse with the seller so to protect himself, £5k less than dealers prices will be hard bargained for.
So, you take your choice but ultimately a straight sale will be painful. These business models are geared to keep you as a customer. Trade in will always be less hassle, better deal but long term costly.

The answer is....this varies according to current stock/sales levels so to achieve best price you need to do the leg work and offer your car to the main Aston group buyers (Grange, Stratstones, Jardine, JCT600, Sytner, Harwoods, HWN, Leven, etc) then add a couple of good Aston specialists (Bamford, Mcgurk, Nicolas Mee, etc) and high end dealers like Top555, Dovehouse, Romans, etc. It takes time but if you want the best offer you have to do the legwork
