my girlfriend and her best mate with a very young kid are talking about sharing house, to make rent/bills cheaper, hopefully I get my space aka garage.

This friend and infant, I know them very well.

What is pro / con of sharing a house with 2 woman and infant?
is there anything I should be aware about?

this is what I think about it at the moment.

pro:-
they do cleaning job around, and I dont have to lift a finger. (I know that is a sexist comment)
cheaper rents/bills.
my own garage.
More money for kit car or car projects.

con:-
can lead to arguements, falling out, other people moving out.
2 woman nagging at me at same time.
being "fatherhood" figure for infant.
being taxi driver for them all time.

Any more?

Will this be your permanent place of residence as well then???

I cant see it working out for the good to be honest.

Being honest, its probably the kiddie in the mix that will ultimately cause the issues and may well be a tricky one to 'discuss' at a later date without seriously upsetting the mum!!!

Could you all rent for a trial period or something to test the water...?

2 birds
Twice the PMS

Think about it.

Hows the bathroom situation? 2 birds, 1 hour each (minimum) for a night out.

In my experience, living with 3 young professional females at the moment, it has its good points and its bad points:

Note not many may apply to you, but some will.

Good points

Sometimes its good to live with people other than lager swilling monsters, although missing it now.
Give me space when I want it.
Views aint too bad.
They always have their blonde moments which brighten up the atmosphere (last one was one of them trying to eat an Effervescent vit c tablet)

Bad points

Always wanting to watch bleedin soaps on tv.
Have to be the man around house (anything that goes wrong will be left til I fix it).
Usless with money, if you don't catch em early bill money goes on shoes.
Not always up for drinking sesssions on a weekend (though thats what other mates are for).
They do nag.
Have too listen to them bitchin about blokes, even when I'm in the room.
They don't understand the concept of quiet during Topgear.
They steal the blokes tool (remote) and then loose it, for that alone they should be shot.
Bathroom always engaged.
PMS on a triple scale.

Think Im diggin a hole for myself and should now stop before I can't get out.

Good fun really, but only if your single.

To be honest I would rather do all my own washing and cleaning and go without a garage than live with 2 birds and a small child.

If you are honest you know you will end up getting used for babysitting whilst they nip out for some shoes or something, refusal will offend the GF as her mate "needs a bit of time to herself" or some such excuse. You couldn't pay me enough TBH. Tempting though the good points may be I would really advise you to think very carefully, if you still want to do it then sign up to a short lease and make it clear that the situation is on a trial basis.

do that and you have 2 possible outcomes:

1) She will try and scratch your eyes out.
2) She will go into a sulk and make sure you never forget it.

I always find Im on best behavour round them.. cause I just can't deal with a sulky bird, its so annoying.

And I'll bet you'll end up doing more housework as they have to look after the baby.

My g/f has a 6yr old and I can fully endorse this, you cannot move for toys, piles of clothes and general kids stuff and any possessions of your own that you treasure at all (CD collection??) will have to be securely under lock and key/at least 6ft off the floor or it'll be history.

If you have your own room (with lock! only 1 key) to keep your stuff out of harms way then it may work. Just be prepared for the communal rooms/kitchen/bathroom to be like a permanent bombsite - plus who/when/IF do they get tidied?

You asked for it, here it is...

NOOOOOOOO! Don't even consider it for one nanosecond!

For my sins I ended up sharing a house with my ex and another girl whilst they were both pregnant, it was a nightmare, they never do the washing up etc didn't their mothers teach them anything? This was only second worst to when we had the scenario of 'is it alright if my sister stays with us until she has sorted out a flat', yeah! like when hell freezes over, and then she has a tiff with her daft moron of a boyfriend and she's straight back in the door again. Then they gang up on you and bitch behind your back.

It's not worth the grief, believe me.

Give her a slap, there's no excuse for it.

I agree, "Synchroblob" is a very real threat. I would try and move in with some mates, leave the 2 of them at it to cry at each other.

Im sensing that this might be a problem to 'get out of' now rather than a discussion of 'should we do it'?
