Is there any reason you wouldn't be happy about a Wanted To Buy thread?

I was thinking of it mainly for parts, but there should be no reason why it couldn't be for specific cars too.
Providing people don't start shoving car ads in there.

We could make it a wiki to stop this though, so we can be self-policing and delete anything which shouldn't be there.

Why not use the classifieds section - this is exactly what it is designed for.

It includes a specific Parts section as well.

Yes: it's against the forum rules (we don't allow adverts, whether for sale or wanted).

Whilst you may be able to police this one instance, we don't want to have to try and manage all of the other copy cats and/or cries of "well Barreti's got a wanted thread, why can't I have one?".

I just had a look in the classifieds and many of the Marques have a 'wanted' section.
I'm assuming that those which don't simply don't have any wanted ads at the moment?
