I'm aware ordinarily the police have 14 days to serve an NIP for speeding, but I was flashed by a camera early Feb and haven't heard anything yet.

My situation is a little complicated as I have a Company car that is hired so presumably the NIP would go to the hire company, then my employer and then me but it's now getting towards 5 months and I've not heard anything.

It was a flash from a motorway camera when there were no gantry speed limits displayed so is it possible they weren't issuing tickets off it...

Thanks in advance

If you havent heard anything by now its unlikely you ever will. Out of interest was the speed mandatory court appearance high or simple 3 points FP?

Just a simple three points I would have thought - somewhere around 80mph definitely less than 85mph

I'd suggest you check

https://www.viewdrivingrecord.service.gov.uk/drivi...

just to be sure you've not aquired any points in your absence because post was wrongly addressed or something (it can happen)... Might also be worth speaking to your employer to see if they had a S.172 request acouple of weeks after the date you were flashed.

Cynical, me? hehe

I'm sure you'll be fine, though thumbup .
