Slate grey from afar. Slight purple hue up close.

I wouldn't have thought of it either....... but it works.

Apparently it is now only available special order so pretty rare.

Lovely car and great colour too ....It really is a hard colour to pin down. I have all the MOTs for mine:
3 say grey
1 says silver
the last 2 purple

I am another Vesuvio 996 owner.

Is it Vesuvio or Vesusius ?

Mine sometimes looks grey, dark grey, bluish, reddish, purple or plum, depending on the light and the state of cleaniless of it.

I think it is a great colour, much rarer than silver, black or blue.

Looks just like my old C2, I loved the colour, kinda grey when a little dirty & different colour in different light.
I traded it into Autobahn in June last year.

I am sure the colour is Vesuvius - it was available on the 993, and only on 996s with special order.
