the IDS was rarely an ornament ...

the F2s with 'blue circle' were a bit of an ornament ... but the f3 did what it was supposed to

The F3 was the ADV or Air Defence Variant, aka (rather sarcastically) the Air Display Variant.

Because it looks small compared with a B52 which is a bomber smile

I like fighters and bombers, you know where you are. Now you just have one-size-fits-all.

It's GR1 which was technically a bomber, not a fighter.

As for "restored" - it seems to be missing a few key bits.

the F2 was was also the ADV but delivered with 'blue circle' rather than Foxhunter hence the disparaging comments aobut the utility of single stick F2s
