I wondered why my cd player was not working! Checked the fuses and found moisture had corroded the fuse. I replaced the fuse the cd still didnt work. Is there another fuse in the cd? Has anyone else had this moisture problem.

I had moisture problems. I wasn't aware of it until Richard from Vegantune examined my car during a Silverstone day. They used something to rectify the problem, but i can't recall what it was. Might be worth giving them a ring?

Don't wish to alarm you but....

Last year I had to parking the car outside for a couple of weeks. The footwell filled up with 2 inches of water! It turned out the water was coming in to the left of the fuse box. We could only fix the problem by reproofing the the engine bay on the passenger side of the car.

A moisture build up might be indicative of a similar problem. I would suggest you get it checked out or run a hose pipe over the car and see if the carpet is getting damp.

Hi guys

SORRY I was off line for a while.
But I am back now you lucky people!

The first thing to check is above the fuse box there are two heater hose joints
i.e. 4 hose clips and sometimes they leak!

bit of a clean up in the fuse box use some electrical switch cleaner spray and if you are lucky Hey Presto it all works again if not give us a call or ping off another e-mail and I will do what I can.

Pip Pip,
