Searching for a new car.......... what to buy

Hi Folks

I am looking to change my weekend toy, currently a mint condition Mitsi Evo 8MR FQ320 running 400hp. My shortlist has drawn me to the Porsche forum for some advice and assistance with research. I am 44, married with 2 little ones, but I generally drive this on my own.

I am looking to spend up to £25k max on one of the following options:
Cayman S 07/08
911 997 carrera
Noble M12 GTO 2.5
Elise SC 2008

I'm looking for a pretty sports car (compared to an EVO) - would say Cayman'S was my favourite, but I am concerned its down on power at 295hp and there are the bore scoring issues.
In reality, what proportion of cars develop the bore scoring. I have researched the issue and read lots from Hartge on the subject but don't know how many it relates to.

Use - would be A'roads and B'Roads mainly, trips to Le Mans etc and maybe 1 track day a year.

Any advice from anyone who has owned/driven the above cars.
