993 window (non) closure on exit

Some help if you can. The last couple of days when I've left the car with windows and roof down either the passenger or drivers window is staying half open when I press the lock button on the remote, the roof shuts fully as per normal. It's always been fine up till now. All a bit random, any ideas is it the heat?. Sorry car is a 1997 targa.
