Wipers

Ok, I realise that this is not the most glamerous topic ever to be posted here. However, the wipers on my 3.2 don't seem to clean the window, just smear it, I have replaced the wipers, I have decent cleaning additive in the water, it just seems that they are not very good.

Is this common to this type of car?

All 911 wipers are b awful. Did you replace just the blades, or the whole wiper arm and blade? -latter preferable becuase old arms seems to adjust to the parked shape of the screen and never wipe properly.

Don't know about the 3.2, but 993 twin spring arms will fit a 964.

But, as on any windscreen and wiper, the glass and blades must be spotless - I use neat screen wash.
