The last uncompromising driver-orientated Porsche.

was- according to Chris Harris (Autocar) the..... 968CS!
errrr? so Harris what about 993RS, 993GT2, GT3, 996GT2, and particually the GT3RS?? they have all come after the 968, are they just girly shopping cars or what?
Just seems an odd thing to say, if the question was last reasonable budget drivers car then yes fine, but a 968Cs as great- as I think they are, are not really in standard form an uncompromising drivers car, ok closer with the optional MO30, but still not really uncompromising is it?

As far as the driving experience is concerned, no, 968 Club Sports are not that uncompromising. From a practicality perspective tho, they don't compromise much at all. The seats are not really good for day to day use because the side bolster is so big, the back seats are gone, you pull a string to open the boot, there's no central locking, leccy windows or mirrors - all in all not very practical at all. I can only assume this is what he means, because as you say all those later 911s are more extreme.
