I have just made a .wmf file of my favourite car pics and thought it would be nice to have it as my screensave. Can anybody tell me how.

What operating system?

WindowsXP has an inbuilt program in Explorer that allows you to have a folded of pics as a screen-saver on rotation.

Same with Apple's OS-X. All in system preferences.

Aren't .wmf's for vector graphics? Or do you mean .wmv?

I'll assume you're talking Windows!

Are you a programmer?

You'll need to be, unless you can find a little utility to do this for you.

A screensaver is an executable file, (*.exe) although the actual file extension is (.scr). There are some minor things that you have to do, but basically it's just a standard program that displays a window on top of everything else.

I'm not sure if I'm feeling generous enough to just do it for you! Are your graphics just static images?

I just found the little applet recommended by Rico.
You learn something new every day!
If you can use that, go for it.

download a really useful programme called vueprint. Its very good for viewing pictures of all sorts and has a screensaver/desktop utility as well.

Lets you do stuff like view all your pictures just by tapping your spacebar to scroll through them. Page Up/down to enlarge reduce, dead easy to use.
