Sorry but I must be on an incredibly thick one this evening.

Can someone explain the ending of white noise to me? Gone right over the head there!

Wasn't it supposed to be scary? I was a little tired and seemed to drift off in it Woke up in the credits...!

Closer was also very, very pants. I haven't seen a good film for ages; did enjoy Farenheit 9/11 on Sunday. Never seen it and found it to be most interesting.

If you enjoyed Farenheit 9/11 I can reccommend Bowling For Columbine - makes F-9/11 look weak in comparison.

Whassat about?

Ooh, the grudge. That was horrible. Find very few scary and the one with Brad Pitt, Gwyneth Paltrow, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey in the one about the cops who were after that killer with the seven sins. Can't for the life of me remember what it was called, quite old now - 96/7? I also found 'It' by Steven King absolutely terrifying.

Normally I don't really care for horror films - anything with monsters and zombies and vampires just makes me laugh, but proper psycho films like Se7en scare the crap outta me! Since I saw that film I decided that I didn't want want to see anything like it again - my limits were reached! When Saw came out and the critics said it was 'Se7en turned up to Ei8ht', I just didn't want to know. When my mates said they were going, I made my excuses.

I suppose my viewing of Se7en was tainted by the fact that I knew of one or two lines and scenes that had been cut out, such as the full extent of the 'Lust' murder.

The Grudge was scary!

Mate, just had to sit through the grudge 3 times as I kept telling my mates in Hawaii it was a good film to take some totty to see.

Worked a treat.

It's not so much what happens which make you jump, it's the sounds. If you watch the film again, the actual movement isn't fast but the sound is. I have it on DVD and I made the mistake of watching it at home alone. Sod that for a laugh. I turned on every light and kept those babies blazing until the morning. You need to see the Japanese version. Also a Hong Kong movie call the Eye!

oooooOOOOOOOOAaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

You want scary.. you need to watch 'The Exorcist' with all the lights off, and alone at midnight!

Dare you to give that a go!

and the other one, 'The Entity'....
and you want REALLY scary... then watch 'American Pie' with german voice over!!!!

Michael Moore looks into the American gun culture. Unlike Farenheit 9/11, which does get a bit preachey at times, Bowling For Columbine basically takes a back seat and lets the gun-crazy Yanks he interviews dig their own graves, whilst implicating the sensationalist US media even further - it makes people paranoid and scares them into believing they need to defend themselves with a gun, and then they have an extremely outdated 'constitutional right' to back it up. Very thought provoking, and doesn't put words into your mouth like F-9/11

Exorcist used to just disturb me more than anything. I blame the voice over for Regan. That and the walking down the stairs "crab style". Just not right. However, one day in New York I saw it on the demand channel and watched it three times in a row and since then it seems to have warn off. Actually, just picturing that crab walk and that voice had got me wondering if I really did double lock the doors. Bugger, let me check

It was insanely one sided, and he was unprofessional and confrontational. I didn't like it at all, and I almost always fall on the liberal side of things. He was just as sensationalist as the rest of the media. Just my opinion of course.
