Just thought id share this as I got my remapped 530d m sport on the rollers today .....
258hp with torque of 495ft/lb.....quite happy with that
I always thought it was fairly quick, not bad for 10 years old and 156000 miles
Shame tvr cant make cars like the germans lol

My car only made 184 but a small boy of about 7 almost walked into a wall because he was staring at the wedge so much!! Not likely to happen with a 530D

fine. Daily drive is a Mas 3200GT allegedly producing 370bhp and 491Nm, So 150bhp from the 280i (when she's finished) will be more than adequate considering the weight, the 1980's brakes and evolutionary cul de sac trailing arm suspension. Doesn't mean it isn't an absolute hoot to drive.

Wasn't having a pop at tvrs by the way as I am a wedge owner myself !!!
Was just pleasantly surprised at the figures that the family hack gave, that's all.
