I gate crashed the wedgefest yesterday to use their dyno as I wasn't particularly happy about the last dyno run I had.

These guys seemed a lot more professional and gave me the above printout of the AFR reading.

Car is totally stock, so was wondering if that is just the state of the factory tune, or is something amiss? Should I be talking to Vauxhall, or just get EFILive and fix it myself as that is a standard tune and they won't know how to fix it anyway.

You should be asking the dyno operator why their setup is giving such silly readings.

The chances of them being accurate are about as high as you winning the Greek lottery

It can't be right. I think that needs another run, as that AFR plot is crazy

All the other cars were getting normal readings, so am fairly sure it should have given correct readings for mine...

Have you got crazy active flappy bits in your exhaust or something?

I do, but it is turned off at the moment. So stays open all the time. But that does raise the point they might have had the sensor in the bypass exit rather than the main exit. Will check the video.

It looks like it has printed wrong, if you rotate anti clockwise it would look about right with a reading in between 12 and 13 going weaker at the end of the rev range ?

Just checked the vid and it was in the bypass side. Panic over! Now need to get it to SRR for a third time lucky run, but the website is not working at the moment...

You would have thought the guys at the RR would have had some concerns over that reading ?

They did, and were very quick to point it out, but I had totally forgotten about the exhaust configuration till just now.

Is the hp being away from thr factory quoted figure a result of the dyno, or is it likely due to the engine being new and not run in? Or maybe to do with the bypass valve adjustment?

Probably due to dyno run down calculations. Bit of a dark art.
