Wheel Storage solutions please.....
Discussion
Has anyone got any links or solutions to wheel storage. I have a tandem garage and fifteen spare wheels at the moment. I was going to buy a porters trolley and stack them on that. Obviously I would need to modify it to make the toe plate deep enough to move a pile of four.
Ideally it needs to be an upright store and easily moveable. I saw one of these https://www.bodyshop-tools-supplies.co.uk/product_... but it only does tyres up to 225mm. Maybe I could modify it but ....
Advice appreciated.

How about a trolley dolly and a ratchet strap?

Or buy these ones if you have another use for them later?

Nice, but stick out a lot if your garage has restricted space. Also cost £100 vs under £20 for the bike hooks.
I guess it's the trade off, the bike hooks are cheap but use a lot of wallspace or the rack which looks more professional imo but costs more. Is the protection ok on the hook, I'd be worried about scratching the inside face.chriscoates81 said:

Agree about the wall space. Don't know about professional, but it looks surprisingly good when you have your nice wheels visible and lined up (I have them arranged in a square pattern with two above two). I'm going more for the art gallery look than tyre shop
The hook has a good soft plastic coating so not a problem and also they are deep enough and at an angle where my 18's don't go near the upturn at the end so no problems with the inside face.
