Metal roofed buildings + skylight?
Discussion
I've got a unit, relatively new and built largely with insulated metal panels. Like this: http://i.imgur.com/yFroz6N.jpg
I think it's broadly similar to these panels from Kingspan - http://images2.kingspanpanels.co.uk/file/asset/134... - but I've seen that there are a lot of suppliers. And all seem to have translucent panels for light transmission.
It's OK, but the shape of the unit and roof orientation means that there's a lot of heat build-up.
So I'd like to add 2/3 vent/Velux-style rooflights near the ridge that I can open in Summer to allow passive ventilation.
Anyone got similar experience to know if it's possible?
