New Alloy Rad - Griff 500

Finally got round to fitting a new Alloy rad to replace the existing leaky Griff rad from Rad Tec, highly recommend to any body thinking about doing the same. Much lighter, more efficient than the existing with added bonus of in built cowels for the twin fans. Improved cooling & reduced fan running times
A bit of a Bastard to do but are'nt most things on these TVR's, worth the pain .........

Good to hear, since I've been toying with the idea myself. I've alredy had mine recored once, so know what it's like taking it out and replacing it again.

Next time it'll be an ally one!

Did mine yesterday, there is a thread on the Chim forum, varied opinions ! For me, great results, only had half speed fans so far, so cooling capacity is greatly increased. Just need new hoses from ACT to finish the job and also seal all the gaps around the rad, did the original rad but ran out of time.

Had mine a month and not fitted it yet - engine out - so v.soon - has to cool over 400bhp! It does not bloody good. Got a TR6 one as well - sweet.

Did you buy it or have yours recored as ours needs doing before the warm waether sets in (maybe) - it leaks a little but it will get worse so I want it done?

PS We had the exhaust done when we had to have the engine rebuilt but thanks for the offer and look forward to seeing you at the Growl.

No probs flipflop mine was new alloy one, also working on a new exhaust project soon, this eliminates the large box underneath it is then replaced by 2 large cherry bombs which then go into 4 lightweight pipes
i am looking for an old backend of an exhaust system.
