Time for a new watch and, never having owned anything which cost more than £100, would value learned PH opinions on the Traser Classic Chrono Big Date Pro which I love the styling of. Worth £400? Cheap watch in a fancy frock? Anything similar to consider in this price range which isn't the size of a wall clock?

Hi,
I've got an Outdoor Pioneer on a silicon strap. It's very light and quite robust, easy to read face and the lume is of course excellent. Keeps very good time, but being a quartz I'd expect it to, although since the SKX is back I haven't worn it for ages, when I do though, the weight is noticeable, it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything...

If you ring up, they give 15% discount for Police / Fire / NHS/ Forces / Ex forces but are not *too* fussy on the details of your service record. mine came in at £135 after the discount although they seem to have increased a bit.

I'd have another one, they're pretty tough. Mine's been bashed a few times but no noticeable damage. Also, despite going against advice, I always wear it in the sauna and steam room down the gym with no problems. Overall I'm pleased with it, and for £135 it wasn't bad value, and doesn't look too big on my girly wrists like a G Shock would smile

Both are realtively cheap quartz watches. The only thing that really distinguishes them from other offerings is the tritium lume.
Not seen either in the flesh.
