Hi,
my 110" has the usual Land-Rover bracket on the front differential which I suspect is intended to prevent the track rod from bending.
My 100" Bowler has a sleeved track rod (i.e. the tube can rotate if if snags).
I've only ever bent one track rod on the Bowler when it snagged on a rock the size of a tombstone.
Question is do I leave the 110" stock or remove the bracket and sleeve the track rod as I did on the 100"?
I'll carry a spare sleeved track rod with me anyway when I do adventurous stuff (a bit of solo laning on easier tracks in the Lake District) but I'm curious how strong the stock arrangement is.
