Hi, was last week on a trip to poland. Perhaps you are interested in some videos and pictures of the event?
Racing an Apollo Gumpert prepared for track, slics and Marc Bronzel behind the steering wheel. I am a kitchenseller with a little track experience and car had first roll out.

Nice to see an Ultima with in car video on the track even if you did spin. We are all learning. You seemed to have a lot of understeer though. I was interested in the iPad on the front of the dashboard. Which iPad holder did you use and how did you attach it?

As tablet i use android tablet samsung. The attechmet is a piece of plastic where the tablet is cliped inside.
It is previewed to use it as navigation or with same track app. For the moment i connect it via bluetooth to obd and use the app dash commander for seeing my speed and tours, as well water temp and everything else. The dashboard was not working yet.
In the video lap i was breaking too hard, and changment to 3rd gear made the reste to have blocked tyres during 40 meters, still too quick before cornering, lake of concentration, 41 degrees celsius outside, passenger which i took first time made the rest.
I am dring now michelins, really fine on street and track. Before i used pirellis, but in my opinion michelin have much more grip.
Oh yes, was first roll out. Luxemburg - Poland, sideseeing during 3 days, than 3 days of track in 40 degrees, back Poland - Luxemburg. Nice test drive.

Why the police escort? Did they want to see the GTR from up close or did they not believe that a Group C type vehicle was road legal? Oh by the way, that's a nice looking GTR... What are the specs?

Good for you taking it on track and pushing it, not many do!

Like the tablet too, would be interested in any other details you have.

The michelin ps2s will also go off on track pretty quick, especially in the temps you mention!

Here is the video with police escorte. In facts it is only the end, because they were making us the way free through whole city center.
Reason: nothing special, they were just nice.

Congratulations Andy, you did a pretty good job with that triple plate clutch in traffic - it`s not easy to find the "right spot". Traction will be increased with the front splitter kit.
