Chaps.

Went out in one the other day and was blown away by it, speed was bonkers and it sounded awesome! Trouble is once you add a few goodies to the Spec you're at £45k+ which is mental. Are there any deals around on them yet or is it too early? The dealer I saw wouldn't discount it in the slightest shoot

Edit - yes Nardo.

Im out in one tomorrow, i think at the minute its too early, going by the audi website most other models offer a dealer contribution on the finance deals, apart from the RS3. im sure its only a matter of time but why would they do that just yet when sales seem to be starting off so well.

i think it was carwow offering around 1k

Can you really blame a business for making a profit when the opportunity is there? If you wait 6 or 8 months I'd guess some discounts or lease offers will appear. Maybe a demo in a few months time could be a good way to buy a well specified car.

Given that even a junk example of the outgoing car is 25k right now you could probably do a lot worse.

No discounts at all at the moment.

Yes they are immense, very fast cars.

Great colour too. Nardo grey?

Keep speccing one up online. Comes to about 48k, but i'm in no rush if I was to get one. Rather let the hype boil down.

id be more surprised to hear people say it felt slow. its 360 odd brake and to help it off the line quicker than a 2wd car its 4wd so there shouldnt be any steps back in amazement comments here on the speed of the thing.

it wont be log before we hear " could do with another 25bhp " comments......but that wont come until VW or Merc up the ante again in the numbers war.

I think my TTRS felt slow with 335bhp. Thats why it was mapped straight away. Don't think 360 would be particularly mind blowing, just quicker than most.

I'll consider once Audi start offering sensible deals on them, as adding just basic options takes this car into a different ball park. Maybe we'll see some lease deals as from what I'm told, the uptake hasn't been positive and dealers are expecting offers sooner rather than later.

Whilst the purchase price is high residuals seem to be good or they are good for the current RS3, can't find one at less than £28k in the classifieds. I realize this place hates Audi though wink
