Speedo not working
Discussion
I'm getting on the other little problems with the Cerb now it finally seems to be working again.
Got the AC re-gassed today as it had noting in it after the rebuild, when we tested it after a few mins of running it was wasn't slightly cool so kwik fit were true to their promise & didn't charge a penny. It started getting cooler on the way home
When I put it back on the road the rebuild the first time (after about 4 years off the road) the speedo didn't work, after a few journeys it started to bounce a bit then came back to life. Then I had all the cam problems & it was used very little for the next year. Now it's running again the speedo doesn't seem to able to resurrect it's self.
Would the sender on the diff be the best thing to try swapping first?

It's very likely to be the sensor on the diff. When mine failed it did exactly the same thing, worked intermittently for a couple of journeys then stopped. Just make sure you set the air-gap between the toothed wheel and the sensor when you replace it..
Great thanks I'll give that ago then. Thanks for the email from the other PHer that's very useful, not sure if I can mention it here though?
