Wishbone Bushes Question

I am trying to get the wishbones installed, but have a question:

The bushes/sleeve are not fitting and I am wondering if it is because of the internal powdercoat on the wishbones. Have most builders been able to insert the bushes and sleeves in the wishbones with the powdercoat, or have most first removed the PC?

I figured I'd ask before removing the PC and then realizing I was not supposed to do that...

I don't recall needing to remove the PC from inside the sleeves. Ample use of the grease/gel supplied should be sufficient. I used a vice with soft jaws protection on both sides to force them in gently.

Yep PLENTY of grease, else your car will groan.
I used a pair of hand held clamps to insert my bushes. Done them 3 times now like that.

I also offset the clamps from centre to alloww the trapped air to escape as i compressed them.
