alfa spider buying advice

going to buy a 1997 R reg alfa spider 2.0 twin spark this week, just wanted a bit of advice on any weak points this model has, its got full history 65000 miles and the cam belt has been recently been changed, what commonly goes wrong with these cars and what keys should it have, i've only seen the red main key but the dealer assures me that theres another key, are keys an important issue with this car?

Need to have 1 (or preferably 2!) "normal" red keys for day to day use and the thing to really look out for is the burgundy "master key" which you need in order to get new keys cut.

Without the master key, if you lose your normal key(s) and need new ones, the ECU and all the locks needs to be replaced (~ £1,000 bill from an AR main dealer).
