Alternater

Anyone know where i can get an alternater for my 94 Chim quickly!? In Bucks.... Any ideas on cost roughly?

only from TVR dealers.....I suspect it will off a Disco or similar????

My local Motor factors matched up mine. It was about £70 (factory reconditioned exchange). Sorry, I didn't keep a note of the part number.

My local Land Rover indie had a new one in for £120 ish (if I remember rightly) but it was wrongly "handed", being left handed rather than right handed, something to watch out for if you are just trying to match one up.

blimey £70 all in from my local street corner parts shop ! only problem now is i cant get the spindle off the rod....

Some have a hex hole in spindle, either way you ideally need a vice.

I have several vices, biggest one being the , I have tried taking more of it but its never helped get the pulley off an alternator i`m afraid.
