Meningitis B vaccine - private?

I'm glad that the NHS has finally approved Bexsero for vaccination against Meningitis B but unfortunately it's only going to be available on the NHS for babies born after 1 May.

I'm wondering if my 8 month old should be vaccinated. Any PH'ers paid for it privately and how did it work out? Two doses is likely to be about £300

£300 isn't an awful lot when it's your childs health at stake is it? Depends whether you're OK with them potentially contracting Meningitis?

My son had Meningitis at 7 days old, it is not something I recommend anyone having to ordeal
