Beta 2 - Discrepancy?

I'm just trying Beta 2 for a bit and I've noticed a discrepancy. When you view "What's New" you see a column with the forum the topic was posted in, when you view "My Stuff" you don't get the column. Shouldn't the layout be the same, just the content varies?

Another discrepancy, What's New has a footer menu, My Stuff is missing it.

The odd post doesn't appear in a thread, switching back to Big Blue displays the missing posts. I've seen it happen in the 72 hour fasting thread and the New Domain threads that I've contributed to.

Odd. My Stuff has the forum column before the thread, and what's new is the other way round, and my stuff has the footer menu and what's new doesn't...

Either you're confused or its doing something different depending on device (I'm on a hudl.)

I was on a desktop at the time, now on my iPad and both views have the forum listed.

This morning on the desktop on Chrome I have the columns in a different order the same as you, but there's no footer menu on either.

Row 4/5 on threads isn't obeying the alternating grey/white colouring. All other rows appear to be OK.

This is on Chrome on a Mac. It's not that the rows aren't alternating, the fifth post is missing from each thread but only on Chrome. If I view the same thread at the same time on Firefox the fifth post is there.

Figure that one out

ETA it's the has-ad class when in conjunction with AbBlocker, I guess you won't fix that one...

Do you have an ad blocker running on Chrome but not Firefox?

There is a known issue with posts alongside a (blocked) ad not appearing.

Thanks, it's looking very good on the iPad! I'm going to stick with beta2 now and I'll try and give you useful feedback.

The discrepancy with column order/information displayed between My Stuff and What's New on the desktop would be a good thing to suss if you can.

Because I was rather hoping that the Beta2 skin when viewed on a desktop would start to look less like a dog's dinner. Is it only the mobile side of things that'll benefit?

At the moment I'm switching skins back to Big Blue depending on which device I'm using.

There are tweaks to the desktop view, but not sure it is enough to change your view on the design on desktop.

Though one thing this release will do is migrate all new users to it as the default skin and not allow you to swap off it once chosen.
