The Cerbera is now an old car (classic car) the carbon dash is nice but dosen't fit the period of the car in my opinion, however if you like it do what ever you want.

I agree to some extent but it's much easier to do than replacing the original

I've 25 or so old new stock TVR Cerbera backing plates, so could easily do new walnut burr veneer dash and fan dash sets. I've not done, because I've never been asked; plus it's a ball-ache to get the temp capillary out?

Yes but much more subtle than brushed aluminium. I have wood veneer in mine, but I'm not convinced it's in keeping with the rest of the interior.

I really think it's down to colour and how the rest of the car is styled. I went from wood (cracked) to a genuine look gloss carbon wrap and now I have an engine turned stainless steel which I'm keeping with. As you can see cowl is red /silver carbon dipped along with some other interior parts.

Booked at Dave the trimmers to change the Portland grey for a darker more nimbus (but that's another thread entirely) lol

When I bought my car it had a load of real carbon fitted already (Carbon Als car)so I had my dash, gear knob, handbrake, horn, window switch surrounds etc carbon dipped to match the door panels and engine as the original wood dash and silver trim looked out of place to me. I was really pleased with the results plus the costs so when I restored my XKR I really went a bit OTT with the dipping but I like it!
