Replace Rear Shock Absorbers

I have managed to remove one shock absorber, it took a bit of removing, I only undone the 2 bolts, top and bottom of the shocker, it does not say anything in the Bible about removing them. Will I have trouble putting the new ones on without undoing any more bolts, or will the new ones squeeze in and do up ok?

I jacked the car up to remove wheel and shock, I seem to remember mine coming out and going in ok,
It was ages ago but I might have used another jack under the bottom wishbone to then ease the position of the wishbones to put new shocks back in,,,,
Someone else will confirm or not soon enough mate

that is what I have done, trolley jack lifting the wish bone, so I guess I will be ok.
