My business is filed as dormant, and hasn't had an open bank account this accounting year.
Surely this means I can put 0's in all the boxes, or am I being naive? smile

I've employed an accountant for my accounts thus far, but last year it was made dormant, so it can't be that hard can it?

N.B. I'm not closing it down yet on the off-chance I get bored of being permie and go back contracting again, as it'd been going since 1995...

If it is genuinely dormant i.e. absolutely NO transactions have happened for the entirety of its financial year, then it can either file accounts in dormant format at Companies House or it can submit a Form DOR1 to Companies House instead.

As longs as it is genuinely dormant. From what you describe, it does sound like it is.

It cannot be all zeros - there must be issued share capital so there must be a corresponding asset (bank, unpaid share capital debtor).

Also, did it have any reserves on its last Balance Sheet? They won't change so that will be shown with a further asset/creditor required to balance the accounts.

PM me if you want to discuss.
