Belfry this Thursday

Any PHers going to the Belfry to test drive one of the factory TVR's this Thursday? I'm on at 1.30 with the Tuscan!

(If you are going beware - I believe there are several fixed speed cameras around that area!!)

Can't make it, work colleague has broken her ankle, so no time off for me. Just sucks!

Anyway, enjoy the drive - I used to live about ten mins away and there are some reasonable roads in the locality, but how many scameras have arrived recently I couldn't say.

We're going. 11.30. Tuscan II, car 3 for me, car 4 for Chris (how many have they got ???!!!).

If I recall it was in the letter from Ben that came in the Christmas card from the TVRCC.

Actually I asked for the Tuscan II too (if you see what I mean) but I'm in Car 4 - so tell Chris not to bend it before I get there.

Not sure what Car 4 is now (unless they've got loads of Tuscans) - knowing my luck it'll be a little blue and yellow car and I will have to wear a tall red hat with a bell on it!

I think 3 and 4 are both Tuscan IIs, I hope so anyway. Just realised we're 12 o'clock, not 11.30. Chris has no idea where we are going as he was so excited when he got the call that he forgot everything he was told.

Just make sure you get lost BEFORE Chris is let loose in car 4, not after - and watch the little yellow boxes - some quite close to the Belfry!!

Been allocated TVR 1 and TVR 9, whatever they are I`ll be very happy. Can`t believe they won`t have wedged a brick under the throttle or some electronicy equivalent. Was it gastronome Keith Floyd that said the best off roader is a hire car, i.e. someone elses! Nobody asked if I was in a position to trade up but am ready to deflect sales pitch and string out test drives for months.....
