Sorry if this is a silly question. Reason for asking is that I want to fit a bullet camera to the camcorder, but don't want to buy an expensive camcorder (as it's going to go off piste skiing with me, so may not last that long!). Bullet camera requires Analogue In, but the cameras I can find all have DV In - is this the same / or would it take a bullet camera input?

Anyone know of a really good value camcorder for use with bullet cameras (I've already got a v.expensive one for the kids birthday parties etc.)
thanks

You need analoge in for a bullet cam, Digital (DV) in will not work. See 'what camcorder' post above (below?) for link to camcorder reviews.

Have fun... piste or not.

DV In is for pushing pictures back to tape via the DV input, controlling the camera etc.

As Steve mentions, you need analogue in.

Canon do some decent low end, small package cameras that are cheap and have analogue in. Have a search for an MV400i or similar. You should be able to get one for 3-400 quid, possibly less now.

From the other thread (started by me) I've searched around and the Canon MV 700i can be had for £310 from Novatech.
