Hello gents,

Some of you may be familiar with the (now annual) Mission Motorsport event The Race of Remembrance. It's our endurance event at Anglesey over remembrance weekend (early Nov).

Last year saw 23 cars on the grid, inc the odd PH, Evo and other journo staffers.

This year we've already got deposits on all 45 available entries, a waiting list of 27 teams and several full manufacturer/works entries. Simply put it's going to be mega. Properly mega mega.

One thing we're hoping to do is get some ex competition cars involved. This is for 2 purposes:

1) to offer hot laps to beneficiaries and punters (all donations to MM) on Supercar Saturday.

2) to be part of the 'Living Museum'.

The museum is to be inside the hospitality marquee. This is no ordinary marquee, it's about the size of a football field and will be slap bang in the middle of the paddock for the whole event. It'll host the general life support, stage for bands/music/dj etc as well as a place for people to relax and get away from the blistering sun we'll expect in North Wales in November.

What do we want?

Do you have an ex competition car? Old F1, LM, BTCC, Formula car etc?

If so please get in touch as I'd love to talk to you.

Whether you're interested in displaying it, taking it on track, either/both is all good. We can assure you a very warm MM welcome and of course full access to the event for nothing. Camping/motor homes can be brought and hooked up for nothing too if you're helping out.

If you don't have anything suitable but know somebody who does we'd very much appreciate you sending them a link to this.

PM me and I'll get right back to you.

Thanks all,

Ben

Sounds mega - I must get myself booked in with the outlaws that weekend (they live near Colwyn Bay). Good luck, Ben!

I'm involved in the Armed Forces Race Challenge - we might be able to provide cars for passenger laps if you'd like?
