hotels in paris with secure parking

anyone recommend any hotels in central paris with secure parking ? or a secure parking area in central paris?

You need secure parking - and access for a wide, low car with expensive alloys. French hotels are notorious for having underground car parks accessed by a steep ramp with tight access and turnings. Remember the Top Gear with the F430 Spider that got stuck? On no account trust the hotel. It probably will be secure but might give you a nervous breakdown getting in and out. I think there is a private club somewhere in the suburbs that would be OK.

I stayed at the Hilton a few years ago, car park was fine for my Tuscan.

Yeah we were worried about the proximity to stuff too but the train is 1 min walk away and the bus stops outside the hotel and is 5 min to the louvre etc. Plus the hotel is fantastic. The restaurant is absolutely brilliant, especially for Sunday brunch. We had no problems getting around Paris form there. In fact we'll be back in a month to stay again.

5 minutes louvre ? Maybe I'm looking at the wrong hotel it's in district 20?

well....maybe 10-15. but really it wasn't like what 5 km feels like in London traffic! If asking for London hotels I wouldn't suggest anything 5km away AT ALL, but Paris is so small in comparison, and the busses seem to actually work. My experience was it wasn't a downside being in the 20th. Driving my Porsche through the city though...different story. Once was enough!

Indeed, no way would I take anything half decent to Paris.

Last year we stayed in an Ibis which was about 15 mins wander from La Tour Eiffel. It had a secure underground carpark directly beneath the hotel. perfect.

We went from the 'Ring to Paris last year in our 997. Got there on a very sunny Thursday afternoon. I was so pleased to reach our hotel and get the car underground and tucked away for a few days! Paris made central London driving seem like a Sunday afternoon drive.
