My mate is looking at this example, anyone on here?

Looks a good spec but is it worth the asking price??

20 inch wheels look bloody hilarious, but I guess he could swap them out for 18s or 19s given that they are pristine.

Price doesn't look too bad to me.

??? Have you not seen a 981 with 20" wheels before...a lot have them - they ride really nicely on them too - better than 18"'s on the 987 ever did. You will split your sides open when you see the GT4 - they 20" too AND extra wide!!!

Car looks about right in price...perhaps a £1K or so less??

I think that's pretty much perfect and exactly the spec I'd have chosen new

That's a used 3-year old car, out of manufacturer warranty and with no seller's warranty, for only £7,500 less than I paid for my car brand new!!

Very expensive - unless you are sure you really want to pay for all those extras. Even then, the general rule is that extras depreciate more quickly than the car to which they are attached.

At 2/3rds of the "cost" price after 3 years it's not completely outside the ball-park though, especially as there's presumably room for negotiation. Most cars lose about half their value in three years but Boxster 981s are quite a bit better than that at the moment. Low mileage is a positive.

That's a really nice, highly specced car for about the right price I'd say.

Might be wrong, but I'm sure it's been for sale for a while? Strange, as a good colour combination.
