Reading up on the 105 gearing and reviews of the 2014 model which had the 10 speed but looks like the 2015 has 11 speed in the 105 gearing.
Was going to go for the Team Carbon with the same discounts..but liked the idea of 22 gears v 20
also took into account the suggestions on gearings from the other tread but the hills I do most of you gents may not view them any more then bumps ! so the standard set up I think will be fine.
any thoughts on the bike cant find reviews of the 2015 model. 2014 still comes out good but with the wish it had the 105 gearing.

Better wheels, much better groupset (if it is the 105 5800 groupset), better saddle, what's not to like !
I've got the team carbon, upgraded the wheels to krysium elites and a full 105 5800 groupset, has transformed the bike.
Only problem is you don't get much advice on fit in halfrauds, so I would use the fit calculator on competitive cyclist and look at the geometry of the frame on the Boardman website to get an idea of which size suits.

Interesting, I have the 2014 version as an intro to road cycling and was wondering whether to upgrade the whole bike or just groupset and wheels now I'm pretty much addicted to it. Can get ultegra from wiggle for £470 and then some wheels on top...

I just got a cheap n cheerful set of campag wheels that make a lovely sound & new bar tape, i know it sounds silly but it really has transformed the bike, Also, if I get the ultegra groupset which is 11 speed will I need a certain sized wheel to accommodate it?

Check your rear hub (not the rim, that's irrelevant). If it's Mavic, it'll be 11-speed compatible.Also, if I get the ultegra groupset which is 11 speed will I need a certain sized wheel to accommodate it?

I believe the 2014 10-speed Boardmans used Formula hubs, which are probably not 11-speed cassette ready.
There are various road wheel upgrade threads on here, have a wee look and see f you can glean the right info.

Saddle isn't really relevant. People will throw away a saddle on a £3k bike if it doesn't suit them. If getting a bike with full 105 (Check that everything is 105). I'd probably sell the brakes and replace with the brakes Ultegra 6700 or 6800. If you go for the 6700, they are only £55 a pair

Groupset.
To fit the shimano chain set/cranks you do need a BB converter, I got the Praxis works PF30 one, all ok so far, with about 150 miles on it.
My Boardman team carbon 2014 mavic cxp22 wheels were not 11 speed compatible as had unbranded hubs so had to buy a new set of wheels as well....got the Mavic krysium elites for £410, they include mavic tyres which seem to be fine so far.

Read a interesting review from a rider with a Specialized Secuteur (which is what I have now)and he moved to the Boardman Carbon Pro 2014 - he described the difference as between night and day and again recommended the Boardman. If the double discounts wernt on then I would equally he happy with the Carbon Team. Again excellent write ups and reviews.
