I'm currently having a craving for good quality ketchup, I have Tiptree at the moment and its good, rich and spicy.
Are there any other gourmet ketchups worth hunting down?

I used to stay in a B&B that had Tracklements Ketchup, it's lovely.

Also, their brown sauce is absolutely gorgeous.

Never again will that watery vinegar like substance Heinz call 'Ketchup' pass your lips after having Tiptree.

For the purposes of fairness I would like to try it. Aldi or Waitrose, or specialist on-line?

Intrigued. Looks like a trip into town at lunch and stop by the local fish and chip shop are in order.

Honestly, you haven't lived if you don't use Tiptree.

It's absolutely streets ahead of that filth by Heinz. Once you've had it you will be very upset at going back.

I buy it in Sainsburys.

Also highly recommended is the marks and spencer 'Smokehouse Tomato Sauce', excellent and of similar consistency to Tiptree.

I find that the posher the tomato ketchup, the less it actually tastes like ketchup should; it just becomes just a tomato condiment.

Tomato ketchup should be just that; ketchup, just pick the make that you prefer.

Tiptree is nice but as others have said, Heinz is a top notch staple.

If it doesn't come in a squeezy bottle, it's too much hassle.

Heinz for me.
