Years ago I went to a town in the north west that was full of jewellers, all secondhand jewlery shops one after another.

I want to say Ellesmere Port, but I'm not sure.

I would also hazard a guess at Chester. Lots of watch shops on the pedestrianised section, also several in the precinct.
