It must be a variant of the Sammio Spyder.

You are of course correct Roy, but it seems they are called "Ribble". I may have seen one and wondered what it was, but here is the complete range:-

Engines were either Herald or Vitesse based.

Although a pastiche of a 1950's sports racer, these Herald-based GRP cars are quite attractive.



They started life as Sammio in Poole, then production moved to Preston under new ownership as Ribble Kits.
So as Sammio Spyder and a Ribble Pilot are almost the same car.
Another company, Automotive GRP Solutions has taken over the former Sammio premises to built the (very similar) Miglia Speedster.
