Did anyone see this on BBC 3 last night?

Absolutely hilarious. The man is a serious nutter. Unfortunately the rest of his former colleagues in UKIP (with the possible exception of Nigel Farage) seem just as potty. What a shower!

Kilroy came across as an egocentric self absorbed and utterly deluded fruitcake. He would pontificate with absolute certainty, refering for instance to Afghans as Arabs (which they are not) and slagging off the leadership of his own party behind their backs. He denied wanting the leadership and then admitted the next day that he did! He was shown making faces in press conferences as his leader was speaking. What an arse!

The funniest bit was a ranting speech that he made in the European Parliament against the new commission, calling them a bunch of no marks and liars. Spot on there!

The leader of UKIP, Roger Knapman, came across as an anonymous nobody, which is about what he is. The only one with any charisma and a reasonable public persona is Farage. It's a shame because the anti Europeans could do with a credible party to rally around.

Damn! I missed it.

Mind you, I have met RKS on a few occasions and would struggle to have a lower opinion of him anyway.

And therefore perfectly suited for a career in politics.

I think Kilroy and that David Icke should apply to become Labour politicians as they will obviously be in good, albeit lunatic, company...

I was trying to think who he reminded me of. Of course, the son of God. Good spot.

Presumably you know that K-S is a former Labour MP?

Icke is about as nutty as they come. His website www.davidicke.com/ is a truly hilarious collection of his almost incessant ranting and pseudo psycho babble. His latest book "Tales From The Time Loop" is almost titally correct - simply substitute "Time" for "Fruit" and it's spot on.

The worrying thing is that quite a few people believe what he says...including a relative of mine....

God had a son called David Icke, the Bible revelations just keep coming.

Got to say it will be a bit rich if people on here start to jump in and slag off UKIP en mass now.

PH turned into the party's online publicity machine last May, lost count of the number of 'Vote UKIP' smileys on here.

Will be amusing watching for the next populist bandwagon rolling into town.

Don't get me wrong. I support a lot of what UKIP believes in, hence my final comment in my original post. I just wish they could find some credible spokes people. The likes of Godfrey Bloom (arse) and Knapman (who he?) do them no good at all. Farage should be leader, at least he can hold a reasoned debate and is presentable.

Meet RKS a couple of times and David Icke once both of them have a strange carsima which is rather scary.

Imagine either of them running a strnage cult.

It was a very entertaining show with perma tan man's naked ambition rivetting to watch. One of the best bits was catching his "off camera" remark to some interview after a TV show had been filmed where RKS said he hadn't realised what he was getting into and found himself defending these people.

It did UKIP no favours - what a strange bunch of people they were. Presumably Kilroy's new party will dilute things further and confine the whole sideshow further into the shadows.

My mum thinks he's lovely but then she was on his show twice. Once for 'glamorous grandmothers' and once for a 'riches to rags' debate. I refused to attend or cooperate with their researchers.

RKS told me to shut up once, after i said the word "to$$er" on his show. It wasn't aimed at him. Front seat dead centre, and swearing thats the way we like it! Still sexy at 50 was the title.

Seeing him get attacked with a bucket of shite made me laugh for quite a few days....bless him.
