The Swan in Pangbourne. If you come from the A34 go through Compton and it is a lovely drive in. Excellent Menu and sits right on the Thames. Parking is tight but I would wholly recommend.

Been a good few years now but the Beetle and Wedge was always very nice. Stayed overnight a couple of times there and ate in their boathouse (less formal, chargrill offering) right on the riverbank.

The Swan at Streatley (different from The Swan at Pangbourne, but very close) is very nice too, probably the most picturesque riverside setting of all on the river.
