Porsche 997.1 which oil again sorry ...

So a question that has been asked many many many times but hopefully this is a bit more specific.

I have a 997.1 C2S (the exploding engine one) and it has 70k on it, my question is weather I should use millers fully synthetic 5-40w oil or 10-40w semi synthetic.

The car was previously serviced at Northway and they use mobile s2000 semi-synethic 10-40w.

Millers semi synthetic is half the price of their fully synthetic hence the question and I thought maybe if thicker oil had been used in the car might be better to stick with it

If you want to adopt every preventative measure possible to reduce the chance of bore scoring, then Millers Nanotech 5w/40 is recommended by Hartech.
