I have a light conversion on the cerb, I think its a speed 12, probably wrong, two bigish one above the other and a little one to the side kinda in between the bigger ones. When I switch them on full both the bigger ones light up, when on main beam the light beam is much bigger but one set top or bottom go off, do I have a wiring problem or is this the norm, if I have a prob does any one know how to make amends?.

Cheers for any help

Just be thankful that whatever light the conversion throws out is capable of illuminating more than 10 yards of road.... which is about the norm for the original light setup.

170 mph car with 40 mph lights !!

And your motor looks stunning with the conversion !!

Top set of light should come on when head lights are turn on and should go off and the bottom one's should come on when main beam is selected. well at least thats what happens on mine.

It`s the only "dirty" one I`ve seen on the forum !

Whilst the car look stunning all clean & shiny (as all Cerberas do !!) I thought a mucky one would make a nice change, and it proves that they are used as daily drivers !!

Very nice colour, is that rosso red, or the more lux nightfire red

P.S. anthracite spiders would set that off just nicely.

Thanks for all the help guys.

It is nightfire red with a little extra silver flake in, it was specified by the first owner who had it respryed because of the fading issue. I would love a set of spiders, whatever colour, as and when cash flow allows.

I did know that, although I am in touch with Garth, the original owner, do you know him well? I would really like to get a set of spiders, finances not good enough at the moment, may be in 12 months time, hmmmmmmm!!

AFAIK its the rosso pearl that fades and the nightfire that doesn't. Rosso pearl is an acrylic colour match not made anymore, and a pig to match because of its ability to fade. It will cause you problems to find a colour match in the future.

Nightfire is a french paint, and an ink rather than a dye so it is resistant against fade. Whats you body code. small plate passenger side near radiator under bonnet.
