Last night I was driving about and then steam started pouring out of the left hand side of the bonnet.
After a bit of troubleshooting I've discovered that water was escaping past a bolt in the main block.
The bolt appears to be a blanking bolt that has sheared. It is located in the main block right next to one of spark plugs.
I think the thread is an M12 x 1.25mm pitch. Can anyone tell me the purpose of this bolt and whether anything is going to drop into the engine when I try and replace it with another blank?
I noticed that the one next to it had been previously repaired but no idea when.

Thanks a lot in advance

P.S. its just over a week since I got the bugger so I'm gutted at the mo!

Best thing to do mate is call Joospeed, or TVR Power.

Well I've got it booked into Castle at the end of the week, just need to get it there! Service @ Castle reckoned I simply plug it up with another bolt but he didn't sound too sure, don't want anything dropping in the engine!
Would the AA be the best bet?
