Just remembered that i had about 200mb of photos on the hard drive.
The hard drive has just been subjected to a deletion of both partitions.
Reformat and Win XP installed.

Is there anyway of un-deleting them files?

thanks

Restorer2000. About 20 quid and can restore everything from a formatted HDD.

Download the freebie first and you'll see if the files you want are there!

You might have overwritten the sectors where they existed. Strange, Restorer2000 usually finds everything that's available.

Don't give up just yet, can you take the drive out of use to prevent any more damage until something else turns up?

Are you willing to pay for professional data recovery?

You're welcome.... and Doh

Got all my mates baby pictures and videos back from a seriously fubar'd drive once. It's been known to save my bacon at work, and that of network admins who don't check their backups on a few careless occasions too. Well worth the money
